Congratulations to our Trumark Homes Northern California team for being recognized as a 2023 Best Places to Work award recipient by the San Francisco Business Times and Silicon Valley Business Journal! The company was honored at an awards ceremony last night and featured in a special edition of the publications today. 

Trumark was ranked #4, one of 25 companies in the category (Small, 50-99 employees). In total, 125 companies were recognized as Best Places to Work out of more than 400 nominees.

This annual Bay Area employer contest recognizes top companies where employees feel heard, cultures are thriving, and engagement levels are high. Best Places to Work companies are known for valuing their employees, fostering a positive work environment, and providing opportunities for growth and development.

Award applicants were evaluated and ranked across 5 categories according to the number of Bay Area employees. The ranking found companies in the region whose employees rate them as the highest on such values as fun, collaborative culture, solid compensation and benefits offerings and other amenities as well as management practices.

Unlike many other awards programs that rely on subjective evaluations, Best Places to Work uses an employee engagement survey as the only scoring mechanism. Each question in the survey has a corresponding response option, which is associated with a numerical value. By analyzing these values and profiling employees, we calculate an overall score that determines each organization’s rank.

Best Places to Work is an innovative publication and awards program produced by the San Francisco Business Times and the Silicon Valley Business Journal. The rankings were determined by surveys that went directly to employees who answered a series of questions. The survey was administered online by the employers and through a service provided by Quantum Workplace, our research partner. The rankings are numeric based on Quantum’s scoring process.
