Trumark Homes Expands Washington Division With First Land Acquisition

Trumark Homes, the award-winning Western U.S. homebuilder, announced plans today for 87 new single-family homes in Poulsbo, Washington. The 18-acre Sandstone Ridge community marks the company’s first land acquisition since entering the market earlier this year through the acquisition of local homebuilder, JK Monarch. Additionally, there are plans to transition ten communities currently selling across the state to the Trumark Homes brand, further leveraging the company’s resources and establishing the name in the market.

“The vision since day one was for Trumark Homes to be a Top 5 homebuilder in the Pacific Northwest, and the announcement of Sandstone Ridge is an important step towards that goal,” said Corey Watson, Washington Division President at Trumark Homes. “With enhanced capital and operational resources behind us, we can scale up quickly and pursue growth opportunities. We are well-positioned for an active Q4 2026 and beyond.”

Sandstone will feature 87 single-family homes with floorplans ranging from 2,542 square feet to 3,087 square feet, with 3 to 5 bedrooms, two-and-a-half to three-and-a-half bathrooms, and two-car garages. Located in Poulsbo on the Kitsap Peninsula, the community will offer residents a unique blend of small-town charm and Pacific Northwest beauty, while maintaining convenient access to the greater Seattle region. Known for its Scandinavian heritage and waterfront setting along Liberty Bay, Poulsbo offers a historic downtown with local shops and restaurants, arts and culture, and abundant opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.

Project development is underway, with a grand opening and sales launch anticipated in spring 2027. Pricing and specific home details will be announced at that time.

Watson added, “Another key element of our commitment to this market is the thoughtful growth of our team, to ensure we are delivering on the homebuilding excellence and exceptional homebuyer experience for which Trumark Homes is known.”

Building upon its strategic growth in the market, the homebuilder will re-brand ten on-sale communities from JK Monarch’s name to the Trumark Homes umbrella. By transitioning these communities both in name and across the company’s digital channels, homebuyers and the on-site teams will enjoy the full breadth of tools available to ensure a seamless experience from contract to homeownership. This includes LiveTru®, Trumark Homes’ custom app designed to give homebuyers a centralized digital hub for every stage of the building process and a secure, streamlined means to contact the sales, construction, and escrow teams.

Communities assuming the Trumark Homes name are:

  • Boise Creek Cove and Rosenbauer Lane in Enumclaw
  • Firdrona Crest in Gig Harbor
  • Glacier Pointe at Tehaleh
  • Interlaaken Estates in Lakewood
  • Liberty Park in Bonney Lake
  • Mountain Glen, Thornwell and Three Cedars in Puyallup
  • Trails End at Brookdale in Tacoma

“The greater Seattle market has been a target for expansion since we entered the market in Q1, and with the experience of this team and the investment of financial and operational resources we are beginning to execute on our strategic land plan,” said Steve Kalmbach, Chief Operating Officer at Trumark Homes. “We are actively engaged in conversations with landowners across the region and see a clear runway for sustained growth.”
