Denver, CO., (October 10, 2024) – Trumark Homes, the award-winning Western U.S. homebuilder, announced that it has closed on land to develop Berkeley Villas in northwest Denver, just north of Regis University. Planned for 82 townhomes, the Berkeley Villas community will complement the up-and-coming neighborhood that has experienced a recent surge of re-investment in housing and mixed-use development that is anticipated to continue.
“Berkeley Villas offers us an exciting opportunity to create modern living spaces in a transit-oriented urban community with connectivity to workplaces and cultural venues across Denver,” said Brian Mulqueen, Colorado Division President for Trumark Homes. “Our three-story townhomes will feature spacious living areas, popular amenities, and access to a vibrant neighborhood where people want to live and share experiences.”
Berkeley Villas by Trumark Homes will feature 82 three-story townhomes with four floor plans ranging from 1,473 square feet to 2,100 square feet. The homes will include two to four bedrooms, two-and-a-half to three-and-a-half bathrooms and either a 1 or 2-car garage. The community is planned to include green spaces, picnic areas and a playground.
Model construction will begin next year, with a sales launch anticipated in the fourth quarter of 2025. Pricing and specific home details will be announced at that time.
The community is located on the southeast corner of 56th Avenue and Federal Boulevard in Adams County, five miles north of downtown Denver. It is conveniently positioned within half a mile of the Clear Creek-Federal light rail station on the Gold RTD line, offering direct access to Denver’s employment centers and entertainment offerings including theaters, museums and music venues.
Closer to home, the immediate area offers numerous shopping and dining options including the bustling Tennyson Street Cultural District which hosts monthly First Friday Cultural Walks, an Annual Fall Fest and other events throughout the year. Nearby parks for outdoor recreation and water activities include Berkeley Lake Park and Rocky Mountain Lake Park. The community is also within blocks of Regis University, a private Jesuit Catholic university with a strong academic and community service-oriented reputation.
“Since Trumark Homes first entered the Colorado market, we have sought unique locations just like Berkeley Villas to create attainable home buying opportunities for those looking to enter the market, including working professionals and young families,” added Mulqueen. “We are committed to helping to meet the increasing demand for housing in Denver by expanding further into metro areas and anticipate additional community announcements in the months ahead.”
Trumark Homes’ Colorado communities currently selling include Harmony and Duet at Sterling Ranch in Littleton, The Summit at Castle Pines, Kitchel Lake in Timnath, and RainDance and Pelican Shores in Windsor.
