Trumark Homes Opens Shady View for Sale in Chino Hills, CA

Newport Beach, Calif., (May 30, 2024) – Trumark Homes, the award-winning Western U.S. homebuilder, announced that sales have begun at Shady View in Chino Hills, California. Shady View’s Sycamore neighborhood is now selling, with the Oak neighborhood planned to open for sale this summer.

“In Shady View we discovered a rare opportunity to develop a picturesque residential community on one of the last remaining undeveloped sites in Chino Hills,” said Richard Douglass, Southern California Division President at Trumark Homes. “With truly unprecedented demand since the first sign was erected on the land, we have expedited the sales launch to meet the needs of local homebuyers. We share in their enthusiasm for this community of high-quality homes with modern amenities and ample access to the surrounding open space and hiking trails.”

Comprised of two neighborhoods, Oak and Sycamore, Shady View will feature 159 one- and two-story single-family homes on spacious lots up to 14,000 square feet.

Sycamore at Shady View will feature single-family homes ranging from 3,245 square feet to 3,923 square feet, with four to five bedrooms, three-and-a-half to five-and-a-half bathrooms, and two and three-car garages. On sale now, prices start in the $1.3 millions*.

Oak at Shady View’s single-family homes will range from 2,386 square feet to 3,100 square feet, with three to four bedrooms, three to three-and-a-half bathrooms, and two and three-car garages. Sales are anticipated to launch this summer with prices starting in the $1.1 millions*.

As part of the development, a new community recreation center will also be built with a pool and spa, playground, bocce ball and fire pit area, as well as four pocket parks to serve residents.

Located at the southern end of Shady View Drive and Via La Cresta in Chino Hills, Shady View’s proximity to the 71 and 91 freeways and easy access to Los Angeles and Orange Counties adds to its appeal for homebuyers. Chino Hills is well known for its high quality of life and beautiful rural atmosphere. The city boasts 3,000 acres of publicly owned open space, 44 parks, and 48 miles of hiking and biking trails.

“We have seen time and again that homebuyers will always have an appetite for high quality homes in desirable neighborhoods, especially those that are surrounded by open space,” added Douglass. “At Trumark Homes, we carefully select communities like Shady View, especially in a great town like Chino Hills where we have a long relationship and we can bring all of these elements together to exceed the expectations of residents and homebuyers.”

Other Trumark Homes communities currently selling homes in Southern California include Vistas at Mockingbird Canyon in Riverside; Sonora Hills in Escondido; Covina Bowl and Zest in Covina; Willow at Rienda in Rancho Mission Viejo; and Melrose Heights in Oceanside.
