Trumark Homes Announces Two New Home Communities at River Island

Award-winning California homebuilder Trumark Homes today announced it will develop two new home communities within the River Islands master-planned community in Lathrop, Calif., one of the most successful master-planned communities in America. River Islands offers homeowners amenities such as parks, riverfront trails, significant recreational space, a collection of technology and STEAM-focused schools, and access to retail centers. Avalon and Avalon Point by Trumark Homes will offer the largest lots within River Islands and will feature 126 one and two-story homes.

River Islands Attracts First-Time Buyers, Diverse Families of All Sizes

“River Island’s vision to unite the best elements of the relaxed Delta lifestyle coupled with all the amenities the master plan will provide at full buildout make it an attractive location for Trumark’s family-oriented neighborhood,” said Tony Bosowski, Northern California Division President at Trumark Homes. “Our team is proud to have been selected to build at River Islands and we look forward to offering world-class neighborhoods to homebuyers looking to relocate from the Bay Area and surrounding areas.”

Avalon Community to Deliver 57 Single-Family Detached Homes

Trumark’s Avalon community is located adjacent to a large park and will offer the largest homesites in the River Island's Phase 1 master-planned area consisting of a minimum of 7,000 sq. ft. each. Avalon will offer three plans ranging in size from approximately 2,827 sq. ft. for a single-story and 3,761 to 4,191 sq. ft. for two-story homes, with 2 and 3-car garages, generous yards, and 3 to 5 bedrooms. These homes are designed to meet families’ differing needs by offering optional lofts, dens, Next-Gen suites, and more. Sales at Avalon are expected to begin in the early fall of 2021 with pricing projected to start in the low $700,000s.

Avalon Point Neighborhood Will Comprise 69 Single-Family Detached Homes, Lakefront Access

Trumark’s second neighborhood, Avalon Point provides the same flexible floor plans as Avalon. The neighborhood is located on the outside edge of the  River Islands master plan development and will have a park located at the north end of the community. Avalon Point will offer several large lakefront and cul-de-sac homesites with the option to include a second-story balcony off the primary suite on lots backing up to the lake. Sales at Avalon Point are anticipated to start in the fourth quarter of 2021.

San Joaquin County Experiences Surge in Housing Demand

Located in San Joaquin County off of Interstate 5 at E Louise Avenue, homes within the River Islands master plan offer a central location within a 30-minute drive of 25,000 businesses in Downtown Stockton and other Bay Area employment centers. The site is also located near local shopping centers in Lathrop, Manteca, and Tracy, and will feature its own commercial centers at full buildout.

Avalon and Avalon Point are two of Trumark’s eight new communities in Northern California. Last month Trumark acquired 37 homesites within the San Rafael waterfront project, Loch Lomond. Crest and Leeward on the island of Alameda opened sales in the winter of last year. Other Northern California communities include Compass Bay in Newark; Harmony in Sunnyvale; and Origin, a premier age-qualified community in Manteca and the first WELL-certified residential community.

The River Islands master plan will also offer lake entry for non-motorized boats, access to the Altamont Commuter Express (ACE) Train with connections to BART, and a state-of-the-art business campus. For more information on the River Islands master plan, visit https://riverislands.com/
