Trumark Companies Promotes Linnea Chapman to Corporate Vice President of Marketing

San Ramon, Calif. (December 1, 2021) — Trumark Companies today announced that Linnea Chapman has been promoted to the newly created position of Corporate Vice President of Marketing. Trumark has been expanding its leadership team since forming a strategic partnership with Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd., in early 2020 with the goal of growing California-based Trumark into one of the nation’s largest and most successful homebuilders.

Chapman will lead the planning, development, and execution of Trumark Companies’ corporate marketing and advertising initiatives, including digital marketing, branding and public relations efforts. She joined Trumark in January 2020 as Director of Marketing for Northern California.

“Linnea is a dynamic and well-respected marketing leader who has been instrumental in launching several new initiatives and technologies for Trumark over the past two years,” said Gregg Nelson, co-founder and co-CEO of Trumark Companies. “We are thrilled to move her into this new role where she will be able to increase her focus on driving us forward in these arenas as we continue our rapid growth.”

During her tenure with Trumark, Chapman has implemented multiple digital tools to grow the online sales divisions and support their marketing strategies with notable success. In 2020, the website saw a 139% increase in users, while the OSC program managed more than 4,000 leads, set over 1,500 appointments, and contributed to more than 30% of company sales.

Prior to joining Trumark, Chapman was the Marketing Director for DeNova Homes. She also lived in Cape Town, South Africa, with her husband and two daughters for six years where she started a social stationery company, Somersault Press, which was featured on Oprah's “The O List”.

“I’m excited about the great opportunity this new role presents to support Trumark during this pivotal time of expansion and look forward to finding innovative ways to support the success of our teams and the experiences of our customers,” Chapman said.

Linnea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts with an Emphasis in Art History/Arts Management and a Minor in Graphic Design from the University of San Francisco. She was named the 2019 Marketing Director of the Year by BIA Northern California, is a member of BIA Bay Area: Professional Women in Building Council, and served as the committee chair for the PWB’s Educational Outreach Committee and on the board of the Swedish American Patriot League of San Francisco. Chapman is based in Trumark’s San Ramon office.
