Trumark Homes Launches Custom App to Streamline Homebuyer Experience

Platform centralizes communication, documents, and construction updates from contract through homeownership

Trumark Homes has launched LiveTru, a custom app designed to give homebuyers a centralized digital hub for every stage of the building process. The platform has already been rolled out for all new buyers in Trumark’s communities across California and Colorado.

In competitive markets where customer experience has become a key differentiator, Trumark’s investment in this technology addresses what the company sees as a major industry pain point.

“We know that home buying is traditionally very fragmented and overwhelming,” said Linnea Chapman, corporate vice president of marketing at Trumark Homes. “LiveTru was inspired by our promise to make the journey simpler, more transparent, and more gratifying for our home buyers.”

Once a buyer is in contract, the app provides real-time construction updates, checklists for action items, and a secure document center for contracts and warranties. There is also a feature for direct messaging, where the homebuyer can contact sales, construction, and escrow teams throughout the building process.

“This level of transparency eliminates the black box of construction and creates trust and confidence,” Chapman said. “In today’s uncertain climate, that reassurance is invaluable.”

The app’s functionality continues after closing, when it transitions into a homeownership tool. It gives homeowners a permanent digital folder where all their home information is stored, including appliance manuals, SKU numbers for paint colors, and warranty information. Homeowners can also submit warranty claims directly through the platform.

The centralized system has also changed internal workflows. Customer care representatives can review the full history of a buyer’s journey before their first meeting, and all team members can see communications across different construction phases. The platform is available as both a mobile download and web portal.

Looking ahead, Chapman said Trumark plans to continue expanding LiveTru’s capabilities. “The app is not one and done. It’s a living, breathing thing, and as adoption grows, we intend to integrate new features and functions and continue to elevate the consumer and homeowner experience,” she said.
