Trumark Homes Expanding Southern California Footprint in 2026

Trumark Homes, the award-winning Western U.S. homebuilder, announced today that despite uneven market conditions, it is aggressively expanding its Southern California portfolio in 2026. Reflecting years of work and negotiation, Trumark has secured homesites at four notable Southern California communities, recently purchasing 379 lots in San Diego County at Ocean Breeze Ranch, 226 lots in Riverside County in Corona and 175 lots in Orange County, split between Rancho Mission Viejo and the Great Park in Irvine.

“Market conditions are uneven, but for the right locations there remains robust demand for new homes, and we have targeted lots in the best locations,” said Richard Douglass, Southern California Division President at Trumark Homes. “Orange, Riverside and San Diego Counties are highly desirable destinations, and these new projects will present opportunities for a wide range of homebuyers to enter the market or move up or down in exceptional communities.”

Ocean Breeze Ranch in Bonsall is nestled among 1,403 acres of picturesque rolling foothills in northern San Diego County and will include 379 single-family homes across five distinct neighborhoods. There will be a total of 15 floor plans with architectural styles including Cottage, Ranch, Craftsman, Tuscan, Monterey, Farmhouse, and Spanish, ranging from 2,766 square feet to 3,465 square feet. The community is planned to include a host of popular amenities accessible to all residents including a clubhouse, pool, spa and outdoor lounges. Additionally, the development will be centered around open space, with more than 5 miles of trails, 9 acres of parks, 45 acres of common space with recreation areas, and a total of 953 acres to be preserved. Construction on the model homes will begin in late 2026 with a grand opening anticipated in Winter 2026.

Elaris in Corona’s Horsethief Canyon encompasses 45.7 acres and will include 226 conventional single-family detached homes in two neighborhoods, Aria and Lyria. With six floorplans, homes will range from 2,180 square feet to 2,894 square feet, with three to five bedrooms, two-and-a-half to four bathrooms, and two-car garages. Residents of Elaris will enjoy a vibrant community park complete with a tot lot, pool and spa, BBQ area, and fire pit. Enjoying a prime location with scenic views and numerous recreation options extending from the community to nearby Cleveland National Forest, residents will experience the best of indoor/outdoor living, plus top schools and convenient freeway access to business and retail centers. Construction on the model homes has begun with a grand opening anticipated in Summer 2026.

Andara at the Great Park in Irvine will feature 85 single-family attached homes in the master-planned community’s Luna Park neighborhood. Three three-story floorplans will range from 1,815 square feet to 2,408 square feet, with three to four bedrooms, two-full and two-half to three-and-a-half bathrooms, two-car garages, and select floorplans with flex space, balconies or bonus rooms. Luna Park, located on the eastern side of the Great Park neighborhoods, will include a 13-acre park offering two swimming pools, pickleball and basketball courts and community gathering spaces, as well as access to many recreational amenities across the Great Park. Model home construction is underway with a grand opening anticipated in Spring 2026.

Sunflower at Rienda in Rancho Mission Viejo includes 90 single-family homes with five floorplans ranging from 1,568 square feet to 2,357 square feet, with two to four bedrooms, two-and-a-half to three-and-a-half bathrooms, garages and select floorplans with a loft or bonus room. Located in the Village of Rienda, residents will have access to the resort-style amenities and experiences at Ranch Camp at Rienda including a 20,000-square-foot lagoon-style pool, an open-air fitness center and four-lane lap pool, as well as Rienda Plunge, featuring a pool, spa, event room, BBQ, patio and tot lot for year-round entertaining and gatherings. “Each of these communities has a unique identity and location with a rich history. We approach our role as stewards of these lands with great respect and responsibility,” added Douglass. “Our team is singularly focused on meeting the need for new inventory by identifying unique land opportunities and dedicating the time and effort alongside city and community leaders to develop modern and vibrant neighborhoods where people want to live.”
