Award-winning California homebuilder Trumark Homes today announced it will develop a residential community of luxury townhomes in Concord, California. Penny Lane, will create new opportunities for families and individuals to experience the East Bay’s acclaimed lifestyle.
Penny Lane will feature a total of 70 three-story townhomes ranging from 1,611 square feet to 2,430 square feet. The community will offer four distinct floor plans that range from three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms to four bedrooms, a den and four bathrooms.
“Penny Lane will offer beautiful, attainably priced luxury townhomes for Bay Area employees and their families in a city admired for its active outdoor lifestyle, vibrant business climate and outstanding schools,” said Tony Bosowski, Northern California Division President at Trumark Homes. “Our new community will help ease the East Bay’s significant supply-constrained housing market in one of the most appealing areas of our region.”
Concord has been recognized as one of the best places in California to raise a family, and is popular with outdoor enthusiasts, young professionals and those who enjoy dining, entertainment and great music.
Located on Clayton Road on the east side of Concord, Penny Lane will be within a short distance of many of the city’s popular amenities, including 30-acre Concord Community Park, which offers an Olympic-size pool, tennis courts, dog park, picnic areas and a recreational center. Restaurants, tap houses, retail stores, banks and more will be within walking distance of Penny Lane homes. In addition, the new community will include a community park for residents and guests.
Besides convenient-to-reach community amenities, Penny Lane’s location on Clayton Road will make it easy for residents to access the BART Concord station. Meanwhile, Clayton Road feeds directly into downtown Concord and intersects Concord Avenue, another arterial road that provides convenient access to the entire city.
Sales are anticipated to start in Spring of 2022. Models are expected to be open to the public in Fall of 2022. Pricing has not yet been set.
Penny Lane will be Trumark’s 19th new community in Northern California. Earlier this year, Trumark acquired 37 homesites within the San Rafael waterfront project, The Strand at Loch Lomond. Crest and Leeward on the island of Alameda opened in the winter of 2020. Other Northern California communities include Compass Bay in Newark; Harmony in Sunnyvale; and Origin, a premier age-qualified community in Manteca and the first WELL-certified residential community.
