Trumark Homes acquires 37 waterfront units within the 76-home village of The Strand at Loch Lomond Mixed-Use Development

Trumark Homes, a national award-winning California homebuilder, today announced the acquisition of 37 townhomes, condo flats and two-story detached homes within the 76-unit Village of The Strand at   Loch Lomond. Located on the San Francisco Bay in Marin County, the site represents an opportunity for Trumark to potentially deliver all 37 residences in the 2022 calendar year, contributing over $65 million in gross sales revenue.

With a median household income of $151,375 per year — roughly $71,000 above California’s average (Meyers Research) — Marin County attracts upper-middle class homebuyers seeking spacious, single-family homes in the Bay Area. For that reason, Trumark is currently targeting buyers from the San Francisco Peninsula seeking lower density housing, larger outdoor space and more flexible floor plans to accommodate their new work-from-home lifestyles.

“As an existing site offering new home product with a limited supply of waterfront units, our acquisitions team quickly identified Loch Lomond as the perfect opportunity to expand our luxury home portfolio in the Bay Area,” said Tony Bosowski, Northern California Division President at Trumark Homes. “With captivating bay views, spacious floor plans and a secluded yet well-connected location to downtown San Francisco, our Loch Lomond community provides homebuyers with a valuable, long-term investment that can grow alongside their family’s evolving needs for years to come.”

Starting from the mid $1Ms, Trumark’s Loch Lomond community offers 18 single-family two-story detached homes, 14 two-story townhomes and five condo flats above a mixed-use building. Two-story detached homes range from 2,111 to 3,360 square feet, three to four bedrooms and two-and-a-half to four bathrooms, with some plans offering lofts, flex space and dens. Townhomes range from 1,815 – 1,967 square feet and offer three bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms. The condo are approx. 1,943 square feet, and are two to three bedrooms and two to three bathrooms.

Located on the Northeastern bayfront of San Rafael, Trumark’s Loch Lomond community offers convenient access to Highway 101 and Interstate 580, connecting residents to major employment centers in downtown San Francisco and downtown Oakland. The community is also situated adjacent to a renovated 519-slip harbor, with numerous hiking and biking trails, seasonal wetlands and an upscale local market for residents to enjoy. Additionally, retail shops in the mixed-use building below the condo flats will provide convenient, everyday shopping within the development.

The Loch Lomond project is one of Trumark’s seven new communities in Northern California. Crest and Leeward on the island of Alameda opened sales in winter of last year. The homebuilder’s other communities in Northern California include: Edendale in Danville; Compass Bay in Newark; Harmony in Sunnyvale; and Origin, a premier age-qualified
community in Manteca and the first WELL-certified residential community.
