Habitat for Humanity

Sometimes we take things for granted – food on our plate and a roof over our heads, but imagine waking up one day and all that was taken away. The non-profit organization, Habitat for Humanity, believes that every man, woman and child should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live. They build homes for people in need regardless of their race or religion. With volunteers from all over the world, Habitat for Humanity does just that!

With hammers, tape measures, spackle and hard hats, the Trumark team has had the privilege and history of working hand-in-hand with Habitat for Humanity, most recently volunteering on a 36-unit condominium development in Daly City, CA. There is no better feeling than knowing the effort put in by the Trumark team, has changed someone’s life. Trumark is excited to continue to be involved with such a strong and important organization. Capitol Station
Sales Success

The success of Capitol Station started when Trumark acquired this townhome community in March 2012. With five different floor plans and in an affordable price range, this community of 34 new townhomes was a welcoming addition to the North Capitol neighborhood of San Jose. The first home sold in June and the trend of sales at Capitol Station kept on rolling through the months. The final home closed in November and homebuyers couldn’t be happier. Selling through Capitol Station in six months proves that Trumark really is on a roll!

Ah, spring. It’s the time of year when the birds are chirping, the flowers are blooming, the days are longer and, for reasons that defy logic, we feel an urge to clean the house. It is said that the spring cleaning ritual originated in ancient times and may have something to do with our body…

Furniture on Wheels

We’re always on the lookout for unique ways to transform the ordinary. And boy, do I have a good one today! My latest obsession has been media carts, consuls, and coffee tables on wheels! Wheels! I love the extra style that those four rollers bring to each piece. Such a fun industrial look, but a…

Green Living Tip | Pedal power: Bicycles on a roll in big cities

With gasoline prices hitting $4.40 in parts of California and averaging $3.85 across the nation this October, there may never be a better time to bike to work or school. But for those who need more persuading, consider this: every 6 miles biked instead of driven save 3.5 pounds of carbon dioxide emissions and 9…
