5 Family-Friendly Activities in Chino Hills

What’s all the fuss about Chino Hills, you might ask? Aside from the upcoming grand opening for our new community, Bristol, Chino Hills has a wide variety of family friendly activities to offer. Whether you’re interested in giving your children a great place to play, or introducing kids to new creatures, you’ll find something for the entire family within Chino Hills. We’ve rounded up a few activities you might want to try out.

1. Chino Hills State Park

Living in Chino Hills grants easy access to Chino Hills State Park, a premium location for experiencing the great outdoors. It also provides a quick escape from the pressures of city life. Visitors to the park can camp, walk, hike or even take a horseback ride. There are over 60 miles of trails that provide for near-endless opportunities for communing with nature. Facilities include a historic barn, water spigots, restrooms, a picnic area and an equestrian staging area. Day use of the park is $5.00, while overnight camping will cost $15.00.

2. Pump It Up of Chino

Pump It Up is a nationwide venue of inflatable indoor playgrounds. Does that sound like something your children might appreciate? With a plethora of inflatable toys to jump around on and play inside, your kids will enjoy a fun, memorable experience. Pump It Up specializes in hosting birthday parties; however, they also have open jump time throughout the week for drop-in adventures.

3. The Shoppes at Chino Hills

If you’re in need of a shopping spree, look no further than The Shoppes at Chino Hills. It is by far the premier destination for dining and shopping in the area. There are more than 70 restaurants and shops available for you to peruse. The Promenade area features a world-class water fountain along with free Wi-Fi for patrons.

4. Golf Courses

There are four golf courses located within Chino Hills, including two public golf courses and two private golf courses. Los Serranos Golf and Country Club along with Green River Golf Course are open to the public. Meanwhile, Western Hills Golf and Country Club and Vellano Golf Country Club are both private, requiring membership to use the courses. The weather in Chino Hills, California makes playing golf a year-round activity. The green grass and warm sun will treat you to a fun-filled day outdoors.

5. The Nook

With the tagline of ‘Fun in Every Corner,’ you can be sure that kids ranging from 0 to 6 years old will enjoy The Nook. It’s the only specially designed venue for that age group, and they have invested heavily in holding up their promise. They have foam pits, ball pits, playgrounds and even musical instruments! If you have a baby or toddler that needs a place to play, look no further.
